On December 28, 2025, the 200,000-ton-per-annum bulk-process ABS plant, a key project for the refining and chemical industry transformation and upgrading of PetroChina Jilin Petrochemical Company, successfully produced qualified products. This achievement not only marks the full localization of bulk-process ABS technology and equipment in China, but also injects strong impetus into the high-quality development of the domestic high-end chemical materials industry.

The project received full-process technical support from Beijing Xinmeige Engineering Design Co., Ltd. in collaboration with Dalian University of Technology. Since its launch in 2022, Xinmeige's professional technical team has focused on the core needs of the client. Leveraging its strong capability in scientific research achievement transformation, profound accumulation of engineering technology and high-efficiency technical service level, the team has provided comprehensive support for the entire process of plant design, construction and commissioning, earning high recognition from Jilin Petrochemical with its solid strength.

Compared with the traditional emulsion-process ABS technology, the newly commissioned bulk-process ABS plant boasts remarkable advantages, including shorter process flow, lower energy consumption, less investment and environmental friendliness. The products feature pure white base color, excellent yellowing resistance and low residual monomer content, which can fully meet the stringent application standards of high-end manufacturing fields such as automotive interiors and high-end home appliances. After the plant is put into operation, Jilin Petrochemical's total ABS production capacity will jump to 1.8 million tons per annum, ranking among the world's leading levels and further improving the strategic layout of China's ABS industry.
